The headline from Governor Gavin Newsom’s press release should read:
“Governor Newsom and HALF of the Legislative Leaders Meet to Discuss State Budget Amid COVID-19 Pandemic.”

Plus, particularly in this time of crisis, one would think Governor Newsom would want to set an example for the people that isn’t simply divisive, partisan, but that demonstrates cohesiveness, inclusivity and unity. That’s how we’ll get through this - together.
