The Newsom Administration has failed to keep its promise in releasing the results of an investigative report about troubling deficiencies at a state-funded COVID testing lab. The investigation was pursued after whistleblowers exposed serious problems at the firm, PerkinElmer, and was supposed to be released mid-March. To date, the report has not been made public and the administration has dodged questions about its status. KOVR-13 covered the initial stories here.
Senate Republican Leader Scott Wilk (R-Santa Clarita) delivered the letter below demanding the results of the state’s report be made public and that an explanation into the delays be provided.
